Formal dress not required.

We have Fall Dances, Luau's, Spring Flings, Halloween Dances, you name it. Dancers wear anything from nice sports clothes to formal dresses, depending on the occasion and personal preference.

Shown above is a dance called the Quadrille in the 1820's

We have lots of fun theme dances.  Shown here is a casual
Mardi Gras dance held at Azalea Hall in Mobile.

Who are our dancers? They're all ages but mostly over age 35, in the middle to upper income bracket, well educated, with time on their hands to have fun and meet new friends. Most of the men in Azalea Squares are either business owners or in management.

One of our accelerated training"blast classes"

You don't have to know anything about dancing to take our classes.
Our instructors put it all together for you in a short time.
You will be dancing within a few minutes at your first visit.

Visitors are welcome to come watch and ask questions. We'll even get you on the floor for free demonstrations. YOU'LL LOVE IT!!

At Azalea Squares on Thursday nights we do round dance and modern square dance. Round dance is a graceful form of dancing, comprised of modified ballroom movements, choreographed by a "cuer" on the microphone..

We love to socialize and eat at some of our theme dances.
