Square Dance is an international dance form. The names of all of the moves (calls) are spoken in the English language - worldwide.
The Pensacola Twirlers are a congenial group of dancers who
make up part of the GCNet, short for Gulf Coast Network.
We offer the public the opportunity to learn how to square dance
and enjoy the lively fellowship we all share..
The Pensacola Twirler's Annual Fiesta Dance
Who are our dancers? They're all ages, from all walks of life, but mostly over age 40, in the middle to upper income bracket, well educated, with time on their hands to have fun and meet new friends. Business owners and managers often find this to be a great way to loosen up and unwind.
The dress code varies from club to club. Square dance clubs go either casual or dressy. However, when you first enter square dancing - it's all casual. Pick your club and have fun.
